BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS
To book Catered Chalets, 'LES FRANGINS' or ‘AARON’ a deposit of €150.00 per person, is required at time of booking.
The balance is to be paid 10 weeks prior to the start of your holiday.
Payment by Credit Card can be **phoned through to ALPINE QUESTS. See booking form for methods of payment or Electronic Transfer via your bank. ALPINE QUESTS will absorb the Credit Card charge, for your deposit only. If you choose to pay the holiday Balance by Credit Card a 2% surcharge will be added. Electronic Transfer via your bank will not incur the 2% surcharge.
Bookings made within 10 weeks of your arrival, are to be paid in full. Payment will be taken by Credit Card with the 2% surcharge added.
Single room supplement is €150.00.
For holidays booked with a departure of 10 weeks or less, full payment is required, and will be taken via Credit Card.
The 2% surcharge will be added to the balance.
ALPINE QUESTSreserve the right to cancel your booking if the balance is not paid in full and on time, without refunding the deposit.
All payments made to ‘ALPINE QUESTS’ will be paid into a business client account. All payments will remain there until the completion of your holiday.
This ensues that your money will be refunded in the event of ‘ALPINE QUESTS’ becoming insolvent.
Sole occupancy only applies when agreement and price have been negotiated, otherwise the catered chalets are on a shared basis.
To book Self-Catered, chalet 'HELEN’’ a deposit of 10% of the whole week's rental price is required and paid in Pounds Sterling to ‘ALPINE QUESTS SELF-CATERING’ by Electronic Transfer which is detailed on the booking form.
The balance to be paid in full is, required 10 weeks prior to your holiday.
For holidays booked with a departure of 10 weeks or less, full payment is required.
Chalet ‘AARON’’ is available in summer as Self-catered and paid for in Euros. (Follow Catered Chalet payment procedure).
ALPINE QUESTSreserve the right to cancel your booking if the balance is not made in full and on time, without refunding the deposit.
All payments made to ‘ALPINE QUESTS SELF-CATERING’ will be paid into a business client account.
All payments will remain there until the completion of your holiday.

** A€500.00for chalet‘HELEN’ & a €800 for chalet ‘AARON’ is required upon arrival of your holiday, against damages or breakages. This we will take as Credit Card details and hold until checks have been made (please note this may be done after your departure).
At the start of your holiday the Chalets are rented to you, clean and tidy. Please leave it as you find it.A further deduction of €125.00 for Chalet ‘Helen’ and €150.00 for Chalet ‘Aaron’ will be taken form your Credit Card details for cleaning if the Chalet is left unclean and/or untidy. When we are happy with everything your card details will be destroyed, less deductions if any.
If you choose to leave very early on the morning of departure please go quietly.
We will send to you a booking form and our terms and conditions. Please clearly fill in the booking form adding you name at the bottom of the booking form and the T&C.
The party leader (18 years and over) must read and sign each copy agreeing to act on behalf of the other party members, taking responsibility to keep all other party members informed. PLEASE allow other party members the chance to express their own food requirements ETC.

CURRENCY/EXCHANGE RATE
Payments for Catered chalets ‘LES FRANGINS’ & ‘AARON’ are paid to ALPINE QUESTSin Euros and will be calculated at the rate of exchange, on the day of the transaction. (The quotes in Pounds Stirling on our web page are for guidance purposes only).
Payments for Self-Catered Chalet ‘HELEN’ & are, paid to ALPINE QUESTS SELF-CATERING in Pounds Stirling.
Chalet ‘Aaron’ is available for Self-Catered in the summer and payments are made in Euros.
Please note that prices quoted throughout in Euros may change, due to exchange rate fluctuation.
Any goods or services supplied by ALPINE QUESTS whilst in resort must be paid for in Euros cash or Credit Cards excepted, subject to a 2% surcharge.
INSURANCE AND TRAVEL
Holiday/Travel/Medical/Winter/Summer sports insurance is, essential. ALPINE QUESTS recommend you take out adequate cover well before your travel date. You must ensure that your cover takes effect prior to your travel date and covers the full holiday period.
It is also wise to fill out an EHIC (from UKpost offices). ALPINE QUESTS do not supply insurance cover.
A valid passport and/or visas are the guests, responsibility.
ALPINE QUESTSwill not except any responsibility for guests travel arrangements, road hold ups, guests personal well being, possessions, hired equipment
and any booked lessons, equipment hire and trips, adverse weather conditions, avalanche, landslides or floods, to little or to much snow, war, riot, civil action, strikes,
terrorism, fire, industrial disputes, any technical problems or events taking place or happened beyond their control.ALPINE QUESTS cannot pay compensation.
Please note that French Law forbids children under the age of six years to sleep on an upper bunk or a cabin bed.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS
On rare occasions, guests may arrive and depart on different flights at different times. This may incur some extra waiting time at the airport.
Transfers are €60.00 per person based on a minimum of four people sharing.
At the time of your booking Alpine Quests quoted you, the guest/s the costs of your transfer/s to/from the chalet/resort.
Should your flight/s be changed, delayed or cancelled and Alpine Quests has to re-schedule for your transfers/s, you will be charged for the re-scheduled transfer times. The cost will be addressed once you have arrived at the chalet/resort and payment will be collected from you upon arrival.
Supplements apply above the €60.00 per person if transfers are out of the following times. From Geneva Airport to the chalets before 13.00 and after 16.00.
And departures from the chalets and apartment before 07.00 and after 10.00. Supplements will be collected in resort in Euros cash.
You will need to take into account that the departures from the chalets and apartment to Geneva Airpor twill be about 3-4 hrs before your flight.
(EG: A 07.30 flight would mean leaving the chalets or apartment at the ungodly hour of 03.30/04.30).
Please state clearly your flight details on the booking form.
Parents travelling with babies/infants are required to bring approved ‘Baby/infant’ carriers/seats.
On arrival day the chalets are available from 16.00.
On day of departure the chalets must be vacated by 10.00.
BEHAVIOUR & CONDUCT
The chalets are only available to the guests who have booked to stay in the catered chalets, self-catered chalet.
Not for outsiders.
All party members must behave responsibly, so as not to cause a nuisance to other people whilst on holiday with ALPINE QUESTS. Parents are asked to supervise their children at all times.ALPINE QUESTS do not operate a babysitting service. Self-catering is not permitted in the catered chalets at any time. ALPINE QUESTS operate a No smoking policy in any part of the chalets or the self-catering chalet and apartment. ALPINE QUESTS reserve the right to question any guests on this matter, if they suspect them to have smoked inside. Appropriate action will be taken. It will be at the discretion of ALPINE QUESTS to terminate the holiday without written notice, of people who indulge in serious misconduct. If any client/s wilfully, recklessly or negligently damages any accommodation, property or person/s we will have no alternative but to terminate the remainder of their holiday. ALPINE QUESTS reserve the right to make claims for any damage caused.
No outdoor footwear to be worn inside the chalets, self-catered chalet or apartment.
No pets are allowed in the chalets.
FOOD
One evening in the week guests will be required to eat at a restaurant (Staff day off). Self catering or bringing in food is not permitted.
We can recommend and have a restaurant reserved for you.
Catered guests are NOT permitted to enter the kitchen other than for water.
Meals are provided at set times and at no time are guests allowed to use the catered chalet facilities to make a snack or prepare food for themselves or others.
Children’s meals are 2 courses, served at an earlier time to the adults. Their meals will be different to those served to adults unless special arrangements have been made at the time of booking. If, Children are to eat adult meals the child price will be increased.
Catered guests arriving at the chalet after 20.00 hours and before 21.00 on arrival day will be served 'Homemade' soup and dessert and after 21.00 a sandwich will be prepared (not the 4 course meal). Please refer to AIRPORT TRANSFERS section for 'Timings'.
People with food allergies and those who need 'Specialist Foods' must inform us at the time of booking and though we will try to accommodate you, it may not be possible to obtain 'Specialist Foods/Produce’ you require.
Therefore, we strongly advice that you bring items that you need.
If a guest is unable to leave the chalet due to an injury, a sandwich can be purchased in the morning from a member of staff.
HOT TUB & SAUNA
Chalet 'LES FRANGINS' & Chalet‘AARON’
ALPINE QUESTS accept no liability for personal injuries or accidents whilst using these facilities.
The hot tub will be available until 20-00 hrs and the sauna will be available between 16-00hrs and 20-00 hrs.
Children under the age of 14 who wish to use the facilities MUST be supervised by an adult (18 years and over) at all times.
The games room is available at all times, however noise levels must be respected after 23.00 hrs. Adults must not leave unsupervised children.
WINTER SKIPASSES & SUMMER MULTI PASS
We can book your winter ski passes and summer MultiPass ready for your arrival, so no queuing or time wasting.
Enter your requirements on the booking form. The pre-booked ski passes can be paid by credit card or Euros cash within resort.
Summer MultiPasses paid in Euros Cash. Alpine Quests have Credit Card facilities.

Stock of the latest skis, snowboards, boots, snowshoes and helmets.
Prices are one of the lowest of all shops in the village. All Alpine Quests clients receive a 10% discount.
***Guests who have booked ski hire with/from other shops and companies will need to organise their own collection and return.

Bed linen can be hired at £12.00/€15.00 per person to cover laundry costs.
Towels and tea towels are NOT supplied.
A cot @ £12.00/€15.00 per week subject to availability (you need to supply own bedding).

CANCELLATION(by you)
If you wish to cancel your booking after we have accepted it, the person who signed the booking form (or made the booking) must send signed instructions immediately to ALPINE QUESTS, by recorded delivery to the following address:

Cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your letter. If you cancel after we have confirmed your booking, we will take a ‘Cancellation Charge’ per person as shown below:
More than 42 days Loss of deposit
42-29 days 50% of the cost of the holiday
28-22 days 70% of the cost of the holiday
21-8 days 90% of the cost of the holiday
7 days or fewer 100% of the cost of the holiday
These charges reflect our estimated loss as a result of dealing with your booking, to the point of cancellation and any other losses we may have to pay. If you wish to change your booking we will do our up most to fit another date to suit you. If the amended date is a lesser price ALPINE QUESTS reserve the right to retain the higher price booking fee. If the price is higher we will require the extra fee prior to your holiday. If this is not agreed ALPINE QUESTS will follow the ‘Cancellation Charge’ shown above.
Credit Cards Terms and Conditions
This facility is provided by the French branch of SARL Alpine Quests, which means that the transaction will be charged in Euros. The rate charged will be that shown by the currency converter website at the time the charge is made.
PLEASE NOTE YOU MAY BE CHARGED AN FX FEE BY YOUR CARD PROVIDER FOR USING YOUR CARD ABROAD. THE FEE WILL BE BUILT INTO THE RATE YOUR CARD PROVIDER CHARGES. PLEASE CHECK THE BACK OF YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT FOR FULL DETAILS.
If the amount charged to your credit card in Sterlingis different to the amount quoted in the booking confirmation, the difference must be absorbed by you the client.
Cards NOT accept are: Amex, Switch and Diners.
