TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellation (by you)
If you
wish to cancel your booking after we have accepted it, the person who signed
the booking form (or made the booking) must send signed instructions
immediately to ALPINE QUESTS, by recorded delivery to the following
address:

Cancellation takes effect on the date we receive your letter. If you cancel
after we have confirmed your booking, we will take a ‘Cancellation Charge’
per person as shown below:

These
charges reflect our estimated loss as a result of dealing with your booking
to the point of cancellation and any other losses we may have to pay. If you
wish to change your booking we will do our up most to fit another date to
suit you. If the amended date is a lesser price ALPINE QUESTS reserve
the right to retain the higher price booking fee. If the price is higher we
will require the extra fee prior to your holiday. If this is not agreed
ALPINE
QUESTS
will
follow the ‘Cancellation Charge’ shown above.
CURRENCY/EXCHANGE RATE
Payments made to
ALPINE QUESTS
in Euros will be calculated at the rate of exchange, on the day of the
transaction.
Please note that prices quoted throughout in euros may change, due to
exchange rate fluctuation.
ALPINE
QUESTS
stress that prices quoted in euros are for guidance purposes only.
Any goods
or services supplied by ALPINE QUESTS whilst in the resort must be
paid for in euros.
BEHAVIOUR
The
chalet and its facilities are only available to guest staying in the catered
chalet.
All party
members must behave responsibly, so as not to cause a nuisance to other
people whilst on holiday with ALPINE QUESTS. For catered and
self-catered, parents are asked to supervise their children at all times.
ALPINE QUESTS do not operate a babysitting service. Self-catering is not
permitted in the catered chalet at any time. ALPINE QUESTS operate a
No smoking policy in any part of the chalet or the self-catering
chalet. ALPINE QUESTS reserve the right to question any guests on
this matter, if they suspect them to have smoked inside. Appropriate action
will be taken.
No
outdoor footwear to be worn inside the chalet or the self-catered chalet.
No pets
are allowed in the chalet or the self-catering chalet.
FOOD
Guests
are NOT permitted to enter the kitchen other than for water.
Meals are
provided at set times and no time are guest allowed to use the chalet
facilities to make a snack or prepare food for themselves or others.
Children’s meals are 2 course, served at an earlier time to the adults.
Their meals will be different to those served to adults unless special
arrangements have been made at the time of booking.
Guests arriving at the
chalet after 20.00 hrs on arrival day will be served 'Homemade' soup and
dessert, (not the 4 course meal). Please refer to AIRPORT TRANSFERS
section for 'Timming'.
People
with food allergies and those who need 'Specialist Foods' must inform us at the time of booking and though we will
try to accommodate you, it may not be possible to obtain 'Specialist Foods'/produce you
require. Therefore we strongly advice that you bring items that you need.
HOT TUB & SAUNA Chalet 'Les Frangins'
Alpine
Quests
accept no
liability for personal injuries or accidents whilst using these facilities.
The hot
tub will be available until 20-00 hrs and the sauna will be available
between 16-00hrs and 20-00 hrs.
Children
under the age of 12 who wish to use the facilities MUST be supervised
by an adult (18 years and over) at all times.
The games
room is available at all times, however noise levels must be respected after
23-00 hrs.
It will
be at the discretion of ALPINE QUESTS to terminate the holiday of
people who indulge in serious misconduct. If any party member wilfully,
recklessly or negligently damages any accommodation, property or person/s we
will have no alternative but to terminate the remainder of their holiday.
ALPINE QUESTS reserve the right to make claims for any damage caused.
INSURANCE AND TRAVEL
Holiday/Travel/Medical/Winter sports insurance is, essential. ALPINE
QUESTS recommend you take out adequate cover well before your travel
date. You must ensure that your cover takes effect prior to your travel date
and covers the full holiday period. It is also wise to fill out an EHIC
(from UK post offices). ALPINE QUESTS do not supply insurance cover.
We must know your insurance details prior to your holiday. A valid passport
or visas are the guests, responsibility.
ALPINE
QUESTS
will not, except any responsibility for guests travel arrangements, guests
personal well being, possessions, hired equipment and any booked lessons and
trips, or events taking place or happened beyond their control, adverse
weather conditions, avalanche, landslides or floods, to little or to much
snow.
Pleases
note that French Law forbids children under the age of six years are not
permitted to sleep on an upper bunk or a cabin bed.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS
On rare
occasions, guests may arrive and depart on different flights at different
times. This may incur some extra waiting time at the airport. Transfers are
€60.00 per person based on a minimum of four
people
sharing.
Supplements apply above the €60.00 per person if transfers are out of the
following times. From Geneva airport to the chalet before 13.00 and after
16.00 and departures from the chalet before 07.00 and after 10.00.
Supplements will be collected in resort in Euros cash. You will need to take
into account that the departures from the chalet to Geneva airport will be
about 3-4 hrs before your flight. (EG: A 07.30 flight would mean leaving the
chalet at 03.30/04.30). Please state clearly your flight details
on the booking form.
On day of
departure all rooms must be vacated by 10.00.
Pre-booked ski passes are to be paid for in full to ALPINE QUESTS,
before they can be surrendered to each guest.

-To book, a deposit of €150.00 per person, is required.
See
booking form for methods of payment. Electronic Transfer via your bank or
Banker Card rang through to
ALPINE QUESTS. ALPINE QUESTS will absorb the card charge for your
deposit only. A 2% surcharge will be added to your balance when paying by
Bankers Card). Single room supplement is €150.00.
CHALET
'HELEN'
CATERED
- To book, a deposit of £100.00 per person is required. Single room
supplement is £100.00.
CHALET
'HELEN'
SELF-CATERED - To book, a deposit of 10% of the whole week's rental
price is required.
UK
cheques for Chalet 'HELEN'
CATERED or SELF-CATERED made payable to ALPINE QUESTS SELF-CATERING.
We will
then send a receipt to you for the deposit, and show you the balance due,
which is to be paid in full 10 weeks prior to departure. For holidays booked
with a departure of 10 weeks or less, full payment is required for catered
and self-catered.
ALPINE QUESTS reserve the right to cancel your booking if the balance is
not made in full and on time.
All
payments made to ALPINE QUESTS will be paid into a business
client
account. All payments will remain there until the completion of
your
holiday. This ensues that your money will be refunded in the
event of
ALPINE QUESTS becoming insolvent.
We will
send to you a booking form and our terms and conditions. The party leader
(18 years and over) must read and sign each copy on behalf of the other
party members, taking responsibility to keep all other party members
informed. PLEASE allow other party members the chance to express their own
food requirements ETC. Post them with your payment to:

Accommodation for 7 nights.
Continental breakfast served each morning between 0800 & 0900.

service to the slopes there and back, at an agreed time once daily, within
resort.

SELF-CATERING Chalet
'Helen'
All of
the above and below terms and conditions apply.
The
number of guests at any one time is not to exceed 8.
A
refundable deposit of £300.00/€435.00 is to be paid on arrival. Without the
deposit it will delay entry to the chalet. A deduction will be made in the
event of any breakages or damage. A further deduction of £40.00/€60.00 will
be taken for cleaning if the chalet is left unclean and untidy. Please leave
it as you find it. If guests choose to leave very early on the morning of
departure and ALPINE QUESTS staff have not seen how the chalet has
been left, your deposit less any deductions for cleaning, breakages, damage,
left rubbish etc, will be posted to you.
If,
leaving early, please go quietly.
Check-in:
The chalet is not accessible until 16.00 at the start of your stay.
Vacating:
The chalet must, be vacated by 10.00 on the day of your departure. Transfers
from and to Geneva airport can be booked at £40.00/€60.00 per person, paid
at time of booking.
Bed linen
can be hired at £10.00/€14.20 per person to cover laundry costs.
Towels
and tea towels are NOT supplied.
1 Cot
£10.00/€14.20 per week subject to availability (you need to supply own
bedding).

Highchair £10.00/€14.20 per week subject to availability. Children
under six: Please note that French Law forbids children under the age of six
years old from sleeping on an upper bunk or cabin bed.
