New in December 2008 Chalet Aaron has luxury, comfort and hi-tech in a traditional Savoyard chalet. The chalet is ideal for families, groups or corporate bookings and can be booked on a either a room basis or the complete chalet for exclusive use.

Situated less than 200 meters from the Linga Tele-Cabin, making it almost ‘Ski-in Ski-out’. With stunning south facing views of the valley, Chalet Aaron has been designed to cater for all your needs. We have put all our experience of running catered chalets into the design of this chalet.

On the lower level is the 6 seater Sauna, Games Room with TV, Nintendo Wii, Table Football and Board Games. Outside is 6 seater Hot Tub where you can relax after a hard days skiing enjoying wonderful views of the valley and the Linga Ski Slopes. On this floor are 3 guest bedrooms.

On the first floor is the large sumptuous lounge with Log Fire, Plasma TV, DVD and VCR. The dinning area and kitchen where your hosts will conjure up your delicious evening meals is also on this floor.

Outside is a large south facing balcony that wraps around the front of the chalet with great views over the pistes, ideal for catching the last rays of the day and watching some of the many events that take place on the slopes day and night, once a week is a torch light decent. Thursday night is floodlight skiing and during the season there are many races that take place or you can just gazing at the stunning scenery.

On the second floor are 3 bedrooms. 1 with En-Suite shower room and 2 rooms divided by a bathroom. Robes and hairdryers are supplied for your comfort.

There are 4 twin rooms and two double rooms. Change over day is Sunday. The Chalet is ready from 16.00.The Chalet be vacated by 10.00.

Cuisine

For seven days a week a continental style breakfast is served. A selection of cereals, croissants, pain au chocolate, bread, yoghurts, jams and egg's set you up for a great days skiing (twice a week you have the option of a cooked breakfast).

Afternoon tea and homemade cake are laid out for your return from the slopes. Dinner reflects the standard of your surroundings. For 6 nights a week you will sit down to an exceptional four course meal, rounded off with coffee.

Once a week your chalet hosts will have a well earned evening off giving you the opportunity to sample one of the many excellent restaurants in the resort (we will be happy to make the reservation at a restaurant of your choice).

Tea and coffee are available at any time.

Dietary needs can be catered for (let us have this information at your time of BOOKING). If you feel there is something you are unable to do without, you are welcome to bring it with you.

Location

Chalet Aaron has a great vantage point being only 200 meters from the Linga Tele-cabin.

From here you will easily access the Portes Du Soleil ski area covering 650km of pistes over France and Switzerland.

The Linga piste is north facing so holds the snow well, right from early season to the end of April.

The home run is a great way to finish your days skiing stopping off at one or two of the quaint mountain huts for the local tipple then before meeting in the Shuss bar at the bottom.


In the evening, if you still have energy and are able to drag your-self away from the comforts of your chalet there are some good bars locally and the more adventures can pop into the centre of Chatel where you will find a whole array of bars and restaurants where you can boogie the night away.

Ski Hire, Lessons & Ski Passes

Over the years we have built up a relationship with many of the local ski hire shops and we have found one in particular that we believe is the ultimate package. The shop is local and from the moment you walk Daniel Cruz Sports will not only make you feel welcome but you will be assisted right through the selection of your equipment.

The shop has a good stock of the latest technology and best of all the prices are one of the lowest around. In addition all Alpine Quests clients receive a further 10% discount.

We can also take care of booking lessons. We have a range of options for you, from group ski school, to one on one and off piste.

As with all our properties we are happy to pre-book your lift passes, so you don’t need to queue when you arrive (Visa excepted).
